What to do?

Noah used to LOVE bath time. The very mention of the word “bath” and he would get all giddy.
But now, he hates it! As soon as we get into the bathroom and the water starts running, he is MAD! And oh boy, once we put him in the tub, he is screaming at the top of his lungs. We cannot think of anything that made him go from loving bath time to hating it.

So, if you have any suggestions to get this kid to once again love bath time, they would be appreciated!

Ellie went through a similar phase. I made it into a game and had her stand beside the tub (not in it yet) and throw her rubber duckies into the water one by one. Eventually she started to think it was funny and we began to pit her into the tub again. I hope this helps!

Katherine was afraid too for a bit. I actually put on my swimsuit and got in with her. Only did it twice and she was good to go! I've also heard, but not tried, of giving them milk or juice or popsicle to get their minds off the initial dip!

Thanks Katie and Blair. I will have to your suggestions a try. I am hoping this is a short phase!

Sophia went through something similar & we had to go special (dollar tree/ 1 spot at target) shopping to pick out her own special tubby time toys. Good Luck!

We do popsicles when we need to make bath time sweet. Works almost every time! :)

Noah does have a sweet tooth. Maybe a new toy and a popsicle will do the trick :) We did not do bath tonight, so tomorrow we will start with the ideas! Thanks girls!
