A few things have changed on the adoption front. Our wait time has increased from 3 to 6 months to 9 to 12 months. We have been on the wait list for about 4 months, so we are looking at 5 to 8 more months until referral. On the up side, my hubby can save more vacation time to use for our trip to Uganda.
And about that trip…we are now thinking we will be gone for about 6 to 8 weeks. I miss my kids like crazy after 2 days, how can I handle 6 to 8 weeks?!
So my wheels have been turning. I want them to come with us. Yes, there are risks, but I just can’t fathom being away from them so long.
I would love your input. What should we consider? What are the pros/cons in your opinion? If you are a mom, what would you do? Give it to me straight.

I would definitely bring them. I think it will be an experience for your whole family that you'll never forget.

I know nothing about adoption, but I know I would be miserable without 2 of my children for that long. Praying for you!
