Walker, Aunt Jennie, and Uncle Beavis

Mark's brother and his family came to visit us this past weekend. You may wonder why the title is "Uncle Beavis" instead of his actual name, Chad. Well...Mark thinks that everyone should have a nickname. Chad is Beavis, his mom is Cheeseburger, and his sister is Big Mama (very sweet, I know). So as hard as I try to get Taylor to call Chad, Uncle Chad, she will only call him Uncle Beavis. And she will correct you if you try to say his name is anything else. Taylor LOVES her uncle. She had him read her stories and play with her as often as she could.

She also loves her baby cousin Walker. Taylor loved on him all weekend long. It was so cute seeing them together.

Since we had great weather while they were here, we decided to go to the park to eat lunch and play. All the kiddos had a great time swinging and sliding.

I did say all the kids....

Noah is ALL boy. He already figured out how to crawl up the slide. He was trying to be like all of the big kids.

We went to downtown Nashville on Saturday. What is a trip to downtown without cowboy hats? Taylor actually found this first one and put it on. She also managed to find a pink hat box to tote around for her hat.

Funny Noah

Noah manages to crack me up everyday. He is just funny. This first picture was from when Noah stuck his foot in one of the toys. He did not seem to mind, just dragged it around with him for a while.
And I LOVE this one. Noah just starting standing on his head. He thinks it is hilarious. He will get in this position and just laugh. He can even move around on his head...talented kid!

Best Friends

Taylor loves her some Bertha. They do everything together. Taylor feeds her, burps her, puts her to bed. They have tea parties and color together. I am so glad that Taylor can entertain herself.

And then there is Noah. Poor guy, just wants to go up the stairs. So now that the gate is up, he just climbs up the first step and cries by the gate. Are we mean for taking video....no, it is just too funny. He is not as upset here because Mark is over there taping. But if he is by himself, he will just sit there and cry. It is pretty hilarious!

Sibling Love

I always forget to get out the camera when the kids do something cute. My goal is to have Mark show me how to use the good camera so that I can actually take nice pictures of the kids. Today Taylor wanted to squeeze hug Noah. He thought it was pretty hilarious and was actually sitting still long enough for me to grab the camera. She is pressing in and out of his belly, but from the picture is just looks like a sweet hug :)

This is not the greatest picture, but in person it was really cute. Taylor got a couple of dress-up clothes for Christmas. The green Tinker Bell costume no longer fits, so now baby Bertha gets to wear it. And yes, we named the baby "Bertha". Do you see how big she is?

On a different note, Noah is now completely mobile. He is walking everywhere and getting into everything. We officially had to break out the baby gate because he can book it up the stairs. I always know when he is over there becasue he laughs the entire way up the stairs. He is the happiest kid!

Yay for nice weather!!

Tennessee has finally gotten some nice weather!! We took full advantage by taking the kiddos to the park today. Noah was sleepy, and therefore rather cranky, but Taylor had a blast! She was climbing around everywhere and going down every slide she could find! I also included some pictures from earlier in the week...just because I know that Grandma appreciates the pictures :)
Taylor and her best buddy Javen. He is about 6 weeks older than her. Javen's family lives down the road, so we get to see them often. They play so well together!

Our good friends, the Boulineaus had a little gathering for sweet Irene's first birthday. Irene and Noah are only 2 days apart. These kids will be hanging out together for a long time!

Now to the park pictures. Noah gave us a few smiles.

Taylor would not really stop for the camera, so we just had to catch her in action.

I am just trying some new things with Blogger.  I thought this was the perfect picture to make BIG! We did not get many good pictures of Noah and his cake, so hopefully I can find something else to post about in the near future :)

Christmas Craziness!!

We just got home from 2 weeks of Christmas vacation. It was so great to see family and friends, but it was also nice to come home to our own beds! We started our vacation in Cookeville, then went to Ohio, then back to Cookeville. It was alot of traveling, but thankfully we had plenty of time in both places, so it did not feel like we were on the road the entire time. There are lots of pictures to share because Mark was there to take them :) They are not in any order, so bare with me.

These first few are actually from before Christmas. We had a friend take family pictures for our Christmas card. I wanted to wait to share them until we mailed out the card. She did a great job and I am glad that we got them!

Santa come to the hardware store down the road from us. Both the kids did great and Taylor loved the candy cane Santa gave her.

Noah just wanted to pull his beard (I think he knew it was fake :))

When we were in Ohio, we went to an indoor pool. Taylor had a great time, but Noah took a while to warm up to the water. He finally started having a good time right before we were about to leave.

Taylor went down this slide over and over and over. She spent most of the time on it.

Taylor had a good time with her cousin Brooke. They played well together and Taylor liked to color with her.

Noah actually left these on while we were opening presents. He did not really get the hang of opening presents this Christmas...maybe next year.

Noah's got his first haircut while we were in Cookeville! He was not a huge fan, but overall he did pretty good. It has already grown back, so I think I am going to have to buy some clippers!

Noah is CLOSE to walking. He has already taken a couple of steps, but he is still a little wobbly. I would not be surprised if he was up and going in the next month or so.

Tacky Christmas sweater party...

Taylor and Noah opened their presents from us at my parents house. Taylor liked her books more than anything else.

We always read "The Night Before Christmas" at my Grandma's before we open gifts. Taylor wanted to help.

My mom bought all the grandkids matching outfits. Here are the boys in one of there's.

Taylor was Addie's shadow. She did EVERYTHING that Addie did. It was pretty cute.

Not sure is Noah is happy of mad here, but we will go with happy.

When Tay would open gifts, if it was clothes she would hold it up to her chest and say "cute". We are in trouble :)

The 4 grandkids and their matching pj's.

I think this kid is always smiling. I love it!

Taylor and her 6 month old cousin. She wanted to "hold" him. Not sure how well it worked considering he weighs almost as much as she does.

Grandma and Noah...what a sweet picture.

Uncle Chad had an ice cream cone, so Tay went and found a pretend one and "ate" it with her uncle.

Again...smiling :)

Taylor always wants to line everything up. We think she might be a bit OCD.

Taylor got several dress up outfits this Christmas. She loved her green sparkly shoes and wore them all day.

More Christmas pictures...

THE END!
